Frequently asked questions
Who can take these courses?
Our courses are for registered healthcare professionals — doctors, dentists and nurses. Proof of registration is requested when you apply.
Is previous experience required?
No — our foundation courses require no previous experience. The training is adapted to your level and to the course you take.
Which courses do you offer?
We offer training in hair transplantation, PRP, fat transfer, fillers and botulinum toxin.
How large are the groups?
Our courses run in small groups of roughly 1–4 participants, depending on the course. That allows for personal supervision, close feedback and more hands-on practice.
Do you offer private 1:1 training?
Yes. We offer private 1:1 training for anyone who wants a more individual, tailored format. The price varies with the course, its scope and its content. Get in touch and we will look at what is possible and put together a format that fits your needs.
How much hands-on practice is included?
You first observe one of our trainers treating their own patients, with the trainer talking through the treatment step by step. You then treat at least one patient yourself, under supervision.
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes — on completion you receive a certificate from Sherry Beauty Academy.
What does the course include?
The course covers theory, demonstration and hands-on practice. You also get guidance on record-keeping, procedures, law, liability, marketing, business strategy and how to run an aesthetics practice.
Is MAL support included after the course?
Yes. On completion the course includes two months of access to an affiliated medically responsible physician (MAL): medical support, help with ordering and prescribing medicines, and advice on side effects or complications. After those two months, course alumni can continue on a preferential-rate agreement.
Are a goodie bag and partner offers included?
Yes. On completion you receive a goodie bag worth around SEK 2,000, along with access to preferential offers from our partners, including AstoMed, Allergan and Galderma.
How do I pay for the course?
You can pay by invoice, by card at the clinic, or in instalments over up to 24 months interest-free through our partner Medical Finance. Payment must be completed before the course begins.
What are the booking and payment terms?
Once payment is made, your place is confirmed and binding. Payment must reach us before the course begins. Under our course terms there is no right of withdrawal.
What if I cannot attend?
If you cannot attend your booked date after paying, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to find you a new date. Refunds are not offered, but rebooking is possible subject to availability under our course terms.
How do I book a place?
