Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question before your next treatment? Here are the answers to what we are asked most often.

How long do fillers last?

Fillers typically last between 6 and 18 months depending on the area treated, the type of filler and individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.

Does it hurt?

A numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimise discomfort. Most fillers also contain lidocaine, which further reduces any pain during the injection.

What side effects can occur?

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling and occasional bruising at the injection site. These normally settle within a few days.

Can I go back to work after the treatment?

Yes. Most filler treatments involve minimal downtime and you can usually return to everyday activities straight afterwards.
