A natural eyebrow transplant starts with a carefully planned design. Before treatment we sketch the brow shape based on your facial proportions, aesthetic considerations, what you personally want, and the graft count available.

We also account for previous tattooing, asymmetry and any existing growth, to create a result that feels natural and balanced. The design is reviewed carefully with you before we begin, because shape, direction and symmetry decide how good the final result is.

The donor area

The donor area — where the follicles come from

The donor area is where the follicles are taken from for your eyebrow transplant. They usually come from the back of the head, roughly four fingers above the nape, where the hair structure most often suits the brows.

Unlike conventional FUE, we use a more advanced method that preserves longer hairs during extraction. Only a small area, typically about two fingers wide, is trimmed short beforehand.

Follicles are extracted evenly in a specific pattern to preserve the area’s natural density. For most patients the donor area is discreet and not normally visible, whether the hair is worn down or up.

The size of the donor area varies from person to person, depending on the extent of the treatment and the graft count needed.

The procedure itself

The follicles for your brows are taken from the donor area, usually the back of the head. Unlike conventional FUE, we use the advanced IT Plus method, which keeps the hairs long during extraction. That lets us control each hair’s natural direction and angle during the procedure itself.

The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and is essentially pain-free. After extraction, our specialist team examines and prepares each graft under a microscope, selecting the finest and most suitable follicles to match the natural character of the brows.

Once preparation is complete, implantation begins. Each follicle is placed individually at the right angle, direction and density to mirror the brows’ natural growth pattern and create a balanced result.

Healing and results

In the first days after treatment, mild redness, swelling and small scabs in the treated area are normal. The transplanted hairs usually fall out within the first few weeks, which is a natural part of the process.

At around 3–4 months the new hairs begin to come through and the result gradually thickens. Most patients see a clear improvement by 6 months, with the final result generally assessed at 12 months.

The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. Most patients feel only mild discomfort as the anaesthetic is given, and are pain-free for the rest of the procedure.

An eyebrow transplant usually takes 6–9 hours depending on the graft count and the extent of the work. Breaks, lunch and refreshments are provided through the day to keep you comfortable.

At Sherry Beauty we work as a specialist team of doctors, nurses, hair technicians and surgical assistants. Typically four to five people are involved in each procedure to ensure the highest quality throughout.

You see a result immediately after treatment. The transplanted hairs usually fall out during the first few weeks, which is a natural part of the process. New growth typically starts to show at 3–4 months, with the final result assessed at around 12 months.

The result is permanent — the transplanted follicles continue producing hair for life.

The graft count varies with your starting point and the density and shape you want. This is assessed individually at your consultation.

We recommend staying home for the first three days after treatment to reduce infection risk and give the area the best conditions to heal. After that most people return to everyday activities, work from home and go for walks. A medical certificate can be issued if needed.

We recommend staying home for three days after treatment. Alcohol and tobacco should be avoided in the first few days.
